Kicking off Black History Month with a reminder from our Leading Lady Ms. Bettie Mae Fikes – “The Voice of Selma.”

Ms. Fikes  marched with MLK and John Lewis in Selma, and as a founding member of the Freedom Singers, her voice carried the protesters forward in peace to change unjust laws and systems of oppression.  She is holding the legacy of that fight, and reminding  everyone to get out and vote. To make sure that we help get people to the places where they can vote, and to ensure that their votes are protected and counted.  Join her this year as she carries the torch and the songs of Freedom.   She is a beacon of love, light, and resilience and holds the memory of those who have courageously fought for civil rights in our country.
