Today we get to honor National Sober Day with Veteran DEA Agent Robert Stutman. He’ll be speaking tonight at Northwestern Connecticut Community College on “What can be done? Addressing the Opioid Crisis”, Much like the rest of the country, our idyllic state is far from immune from the impact of opioid addiction. We are grateful to hear him tonight, and to find out more about how to support our loved ones and our community.
National Sober Day on September 14th encourages us to celebrate Sober life and bring awareness to addiction. The entire day focuses on showing support for anyone living in sobriety. Not only that, but the observance sets a standard for the whole world that being sober is okay.
